Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
